CureDuchenne is a nonprofit organization that funds research to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
CureDuchenne is leading the charge to find a cure for Duchenne, a devastating muscular disease that affects 300,000 boys worldwide. Boys with Duchenne are usually diagnosed by the age of five, in a wheelchair by age 12 and most don’t live past their mid-20s.
CureDuchenne focuses on targeted research projects to accelerate the clinical trial process and brings potential life-saving drugs to help this generation of Duchenne boys. Currently there is no cure, but for the first time there is hope that the current research may result in treatments which will greatly improve the lives of Duchenne boys. Together we can cure Duchenne.
